Nagoya, Japan 99 images Created 28 Aug 2010

Nagoya is Japan's fourth largest city. Per capita, it is perhaps the richest city, and central Nagoya land prices are perhaps marginally more expensive than Tokyo. Why? Nagoya is the home of the Toyota Motor Corporation, one of the worlds leading auto-makers. This central region of Japan is very much geared for the global automotive industry.

  • Nagoya Castle framed by autumn leaves. A popular place to visit for tourists. The original castle was destroyed by American bombing raids in World War Two. In the 1950's this concrete construction was built in the place of the original, which contains a museum of the castle's history and its place in Japan.
